Born in Mombasa, Kenya, Rakhee Mediratta is a highly skilled osteopath, experienced craniosacral therapist and an advanced licensed practitioner of The Perrin Technique committed to helping her patients restore health and well-being. The combination of her specialist training and number of years of experience is what makes her one of the most highly skilled in her field. She is working extensively in many practices alongside other practitioners and highly skilled medical professionals.

Qualifications

Rakhee graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, one of the leading teaching establishments, with a degree in osteopathic medicine in 2007. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Rakhee also has a Diploma in Naturopathic Medicine as well as more than 17 years of experience practicing The Perrin Technique whilst working closely alongside Dr Ray Perrin, the creator of the technique.
Rakhee’s osteopathic training involved a four-year full-time course, integrating the knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, orthopaedics, biomechanics, exercise physiology, pharmacology and clinical methods such as x-ray analysis. Rakhee’s training was part of a wider naturopathic training, which included applied clinical dietetics, hydrotherapy and stress management. Rakhee also has many years of experience in treating new-born babies, children and pregnant women. Rakhee’s treatment uses a broad range of osteopathic techniques ranging from The Perrin Technique, craniosacral therapy, visceral osteopathy, neuro-lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy, joint manipulations, soft tissue stretching, gentle exercises, postural advice and naturopathy each chosen to best suit the needs of the patient.
