What exactly is The Perrin Technique?

Updated: Oct 21, 2022

The Perrin Technique

When life gives you lemons, you need to make lemonade, but that’s easier said than done when you are too exhausted to get out of bed in the mornings. You may be struggling to find the energy to climb the stairs or get dressed, never mind find the mental power to think about how to improve your situation. You may have been diagnosed with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) or ME, or you may have Long Covid. Whatever your situation, Rakhee Osteopathy could help with The Perrin Technique. We aim to alleviate the symptoms you have been enduring as a result of the toxins in your lymphatic nervous system and this technique has been proven to help do just that.

What is The Perrin Technique?

The Perrin Technique was first developed by Dr Raymond Perrin in 1989. He recognised that conditions such as ME and CFS were brought about by a number of factors such as environmental, physical, and emotional, or by infections. When the body has an imbalance of toxins in the lymphatic nervous system they are released into the spinal fluid and this leads to symptoms such as Chronic Fatigue. The Perrin Technique is designed to redistribute the toxins into the bloodstream, where the liver can then dispose of them out of the body. In doing so, the symptoms you have been suffering from should improve. We can achieve this through soft tissue massage of the head, neck, back and chest areas, gently stroking the lymphatic areas as well to move the toxins into the bloodstream. No medication is required during this treatment and it does not require surgery of any kind. The stimulation of the lymphatic nervous system helps the body to drain the system and rebalance, improving your wellbeing.

How do I find out more?

If you are interested in finding out about the technique, why not book in with us for an initial consultation? During this 90 minute appointment, we will be able to discuss your symptoms and explore the impact they are currently having on your life. We will explain how The Perrin Technique works in more detail to ensure that you understand what will be involved. We will also examine your breast and spinal tissue to ensure that this is the right treatment for you. If we recommend this treatment, we will develop a personalised treatment plan for your specific needs to ensure that we get the best results possible for you.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you to get back to full health or as close to it as is possible for you.
